The Butchers start running Molten Core!

The Butchers start running Molten Core!

Postby Beren » Sat Jul 30, 2005 12:54 am

Tonight was our first attempt at Molten Core with our new Raid Team. After finally getting all of our team into Molten Core we got off to a good start, killing Lucifron in our first try and we had no wipes and very few deaths until we reached Magmadar.

Congrats to Luthiena on winning the Choker of Enlightenment and to Nakedduck for the Salamander Scale Pants!

Magamadar will die on Sunday!

This was a really fun raid. I had it in my head that we would wipe several times before Lucifron, and just "hopefully" we would kill him tonight. I will proudly wear my Choker of Enlightenment. Thanks to all who participated. It was well-run and everyone seemed to have a good time (and that's what it's really about). Looking forward to Sunday. w00t! w00t!

We are satisfied with our progress:

Friday, July 29 - 1st MC run, killed Lucifron with no wipes until Magmadar
Friday, August 5 - 2nd MC run, killed Lucifron and Magmadar
Sunday, August 7 - 3rd MC run, killed Gehennas and Garr
Tuesday, August 9 - 4th MC run, killed Baron Geddon and Shazzrah

In only four runs we are 6/8 of the non-summonable bosses! Great job guys, I'm proud of our team! :D

It's impressive that in 3 instances & less than 3 weeks, this raid team has gone from just 1/8 to 8/8.

Kudos to everyone last night on reaching that milestone and a big hearty <envy> to Daelos on the [Robes of Prophecy]!

Ha! Who tried to click on it? You know you did.

The funny thing is, in a post in the official forums someone from another team that has been trying to get past Magmadar for some time has stated that several of us have lots of MC experience and that our team is 80% Butchers...

Last night our raid team had 20 Butchers and the rest were from We Arr Pirates and other guilds and that is a typical composition for our raids.

Several of us have made runs with other guilds, but we never took down Magmadar after several attempts. So much for all that MC experience too!

Great job so far everyone! This has been a team effort!

Was it Pantheon Circle, those noobs? Hahaha, I shed a tear on my pillow for them. Long story short: They're greedy bastages. We all know what happens to greedy bastages.

Those guys were just trying to steal the spotlight because they are running with a bunch of different people :/

With 9-10 guilds involved, they are certainly going to have people problems. In the GGA we had four large guilds, and even then we had real issues. Hence why Namor doesn't like PC ;)

Majordomo Executus DOWN!!! Great job team!

And we got Ragnaros down to 82%, not bad since we need considerably more Fire Resistance gear! We will be wiping that stupid smile off of his face SOON!

9/10 with not a single boss wipe! (Except Ragnaros, of course... )
