Updated WoW Model Viewer Question

Updated WoW Model Viewer Question

Postby Beren » Sun Jan 27, 2008 10:59 pm

Does anyone know if there is an updated WoW Model Viewer that shows the current items available in the game? I downloaded a patch for the one I had used in the past and it still did not have any Tier 5 items or even SSC items.

Yeah, that is pretty old...

I tried to change it for Arnor months ago but it didn't work well.

Sure, I'll give it a shot tonight. I used the Armoury to get Beren's info though, so make sure yours reflects what you want to show!

It's kind of a shame. You could do some really cool stuff if the viewer let you run animations in sequence, but it doesn't. Also, most of the enchants are missing, which is why Beren's weapons don't have Mongoose or Executioner on them.

You need this to start:
http://www.wowmodelviewer.org/

It's animated GIF export sucks though, I've been using CAM Studio & an animated GIF editor to clean it up (importing the AVI generated by CAM Studio).

I'd make one for myself but the casting animations aren't nearly as interesting as the melee/ranged ones.

This is pretty neat stuff, but my gifs are coming out slow and laggy.

If you go to view>skybox you can put some neat backgrounds to it

Yeah, like I said, they suck pretty bad.

Yeah, I played around with that but wasn't happen with the final output. At least in Beren's case, it made it difficult to see his character clearly, at least with some of the skyboxs I tried.

I really, really wish you could have to do one animation followed by another, then you could do some nifty stuff.

I'll try and give it a go! Might be a couple of days; depends on how much time I have tonight or tomorrow.
