Windows 8 Demo
Posted: Wed Sep 14, 2011 7:55 pmIts all touch in this demo, but it shows the main features. You can see how for the most part, a mouse would be the same as touch. The build I was playing with at work is rough in that area though; its hard to get that swipe stuff working, but its also in a VM that might be part of it.

Oh, and he mentions halfway in that 'every application will have a tile' Cravenn, so I guess that means they don't need a Start Menu? I'm not 100% sure they won't still add it, but its interesting.
I'll say this: the tile stuff is pretty nice. And it kind of lets you put the stuff your care about front & center on your first screen. Need more time with it to be sure though.
